Geri replaces Dannii on X Factor
Geri Halliwell is to replace Dannii Minogue on X Factor and Konnie Huq has been named as the replacement for Holly Willoughby on Xtra Factor.
Former Spice Girl Geri has been named as a guest judge on The X Factor, filling in for Dannii Minogue while she is on maternity leave.
Geri will takeover during the auditions stage of the show, joining Simon Cowell, Louis Walsh and Cheryl Cole on the judging panel.
Meanwhile, as Holly has stepped down due to being too busy with her This Morning commitments, 34-year-old former children's TV presenter Konnie will replace her in the the spin-off show of the X Factor.
It will see Konnie in her most high-profile job since she left Blue Peter in 2008 after 11 years on the BBC programme.
She has also worked as a news presenter recently on the BBC Asian Network for the current affairs programme Asian Network Reports.
