Dave Brown

Dave Brown has been in radio since 1982!
Starting off his career at Radio Tees in the north east of England before becoming a member of the 1984 launch team of what was to become one of the UK's biggest success stories in terms of audience and revenue figures namely Radio Broadland in Norwich.
Dave rose through the ranks at Radio Broadland to eventually become programme controller. After a break in commercial radio Dave joined the BBC Eastern counties team presenting on BBC Radio's Norfolk and Suffolk and hosting Networked shows across as many as 8 stations in the Eastern Region.
Commercial radio came calling again in the shape of GMG and Dave freelanced at their stations in Cardiff, Glasgow, and Manchester and finally ending up at what was Jazz FM and was responsible for the reshaping of the station into Smooth Radio.
Dave's musical passion is Motown and this is reflected in his Motown Floor Fillers Show which airs every Saturday evening at 6pm .
When he's not on the Radio Dave is a fan of the movies and theatre and loves to visit his local Cineworld. He describes himself as a trivia nut and loves spending hours surfing the internet and listening to radio from across the globe, his football loyalties are divided between Middlesbrough and Norwich City.
