Rifleman Craig Wood speaks

Brave: Craig Wood.
Rifleman Craig Wood, from Doncaster, flew out to Afghanistan three days after his 18th birthday.
Twelve weeks later he was fighting for his life after an IED bomb exploded beside him on a routine evening patrol.
He spent 10 days in a medically induced coma unaware that his mother, Joyce, girlfriend Vicky and dad Paul, 49, were by his bedside. He lost both his legs and an arm, as well as suffering severe injuries to his face.
He spent 11 weeks at Selly Oak hospital, in Birmingham and is now at Headley Court rehab unit near Epsom, where he will be fitted with prosthetic limbs and learn to walk again.
He plans to surf and jetski, as well as play on his PS3 again in the future.
Watch our video interview with him below.
