Plot: Boy meets girl. The boy, Tom still believes in lightning-strikes-once kind of love. The girl, Summer, doesn’t. In fact she doesn’t believe in love at all. When Tom (Joseph Gordon-Levitt) first encounters Summer (Zooey Deschanel), his boss’s unconventional, breezy, beautiful new secretary it is love at first sight.
Tom soon discovers he shares plenty in common with Summer. However, one crucial thing they don’t share is their belief in love. As Tom looks back over their 500 days together his reflections ultimately lead him to finally rediscover his true passions in life.
